A new limited production beer! Hickory Tavern Ale is a “steam beer,” also known as a California Common beer. Basically, it is a lager version of a pale ale. It is brewed with a special strain of lager yeast that develops well at warmer temperatures. The extended aging during the lagering process produces a mellow flavor leaving the hops fullness pronounced but not sharp. Medium bodied, with slight fruitiness and definite hops this is a very drinkable beer. Olde Hickory Brewery is one of the few breweries in the United States to produce this unique style of beer.
A traditional ale of the Isle with nice berry and nutty notes. Very easy drinking and silky smooth as it is nitrogen conditioned.

The Olde Hickory Brewery produces several seasonal beers. These include the Summer Ale from early to mid summer, Oktoberfest in early fall and Christmas Ale (image to the right) arriving in late fall and gone by New Years (at the latest!) All of these beers are brewed in limited quantities, and once gone, don't return for an entire year.
And don't forget we have both Irish Walker and our Bardstown
Barley Wine available by bottle as well! Bardstown is a strong barley
wine at 10% alc/vol that was aged in Bourbon Barrels for a year. It has
a wonderful aroma of vanilla, fruit, smoke, oak and coconut. On the
palate you first taste sweet malt, vanilla, ripe fruit and raisins
followed closely by an alcoholic warmth. Please note that both Irish
Walker and Bardstown Barley Wine come in
22oz bottles.
We have many of your favorite classic Olde Hickory Brewery beers
available as minikegs as well. 1.3 gallons (about 14

extra equipment required and they fit easily into your refrigerator.
